Grids, the backbone of competitiveness: implications of the European package for Romania

AmCham Romania invites members to a roundtable discussion on  “Grids, the Backbone of Competitiveness: Implications of the European Package for Romania,” on October 5, 2026 between 09:00 - 13:00. 

An initiative of the AmCham Romania Energy Committee, the roundtable is organized with the support of and hosted by the Committee for Industries and Services of the Chamber of Deputies.

With invited representatives from the Ministry of Energy, ANRE, Parliament, and electricity distribution and transmission operators, the discussion will explore how the European grids package can support the development of Romania’s electricity infrastructure and strengthen economic competitiveness.

The roundtable will focus on investment priorities, regulatory challenges and the grid capacity needed to meet growing business demand, bringing public authorities and industry together for an exchange on Romania’s priorities.
