#DataProtectionHour: AmCham Discussion with Dr. Lorenzo Dalla Corte, assistant professor in data protection and cybersecurity law at TILT

The AmCham Data Protection Task Force has the pleasure to invite members to a discussion on proportionality in data protection, with special guest Dr. Lorenzo Dalla Corte, assistant professor in data protection and cybersecurity law at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT).

The online event will take place on Monday, December 4th, 2023, between 12:00 - 13:00 pm.

Participation is open to AmCham Romania members, free of charge, based on prior registration online here, by Thursday, November 30, 2023, 5:00 pm. All registered participants will be provided with the connection details via email.

Meet the speaker:

Dr. Lorenzo Dalla Corte is an assistant professor in data protection and cybersecurity law at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT). 

He previously held research positions at Tilburg University and TU Delft, and an honorary lectureship at the Australian National University. 

His current research focuses on the application of the principle of proportionality to the rights to privacy and data protection, and on the interaction between cybersecurity, data protection, and national security in the EU legal order.
