#DataProtectionHour: AmCham Discussion with Ceyhun N. Pehlivan, Leader of the TMT and IP Practice at Linklaters, Adjunct Professor of Law

The AmCham Data Protection Task Force has the pleasure to invite members to a discussion on the interplay between the GDPR and AI, with special guest Ceyhun N. Pehlivan, Leader of the TMT and IP Practice at Linklaters & Adjunct Professor of Law at IE Law School and Complutense University of Madrid.

The online event will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, between 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Meet the speaker:

Ceyhun Necati Pehlivan is a widely recognised expert in data protection, AI, and technology law. He leads the TMT and IP practice at Linklaters, a magic circle international law firm, in Spain. He serves as an adjunct professor of law at IE Law School and Complutense University of Madrid. He is a former member of the European Advisory Board as well as the chair of the Spain Chapter at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He is the founding editor-in-chief of the Global Privacy Law Review (GPLR) at Wolters Kluwer. Ceyhun has also published two seminal books on AI, including an article-by-article commentary on the EU AI Act and a comprehensive analysis of AI governance and liability in Europe
