The AmCham Romania Data Protection and E-Privacy Task Force invites HR professionals in the AmCham community to a new session in the "Practical Dialogues" series, scheduled for  February 25, between 09:30 and 11:30 am, in-person, at the AmCham Romania premises (11 Ion Campineanu St., Union International Center, 4th Floor). 

Dedicated to a practical and solution-oriented dialogue between data privacy specialists and human resources professionals, the roundtable builds on the success of our previous session with marketing experts.

This edition aims to explore how data protection requirements intersect with HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and workforce analytics.

Through an interactive discussion format, participants will share real-life experiences, identify common challenges, and discuss pragmatic compliance approaches that support both legal certainty and effective people management.

The Roundtable is designed to foster mutual understanding between privacy and HR teams, encouraging collaboration that strengthens trust, safeguards employee data, and enables organizations to operate responsibly in an increasingly data-driven workplace.
