The AmCham Romania Data Protection & e-Privacy Task Force is organizing a new edition of its practical dialogue series “Data Privacy Meets HR” on June 16, 2026, between 09:30–11:00 am, at the AmCham Romania Premises.

The roundtable will bring together privacy professionals, HR practitioners, legal experts and business representatives to explore how data protection considerations can be effectively integrated into human resources processes, from recruitment and employee onboarding to day-to-day workforce management and offboarding.

Focused on practical challenges and real-life experiences, the discussion will address topics such as employee data processing under GDPR, workplace monitoring and digital tools, AI-enabled HR solutions, data retention in HR files, cross-functional collaboration between HR, legal and compliance teams, as well as balancing organizational needs with employees’ rights and expectations around privacy and trust.

Designed as an interactive and solutions-oriented conversation, the event aims to encourage the exchange of perspectives and best practices between professionals working at the intersection of data protection, human resources, and organizational governance, and we warmly encourage HR professionals to attend and actively contribute to the discussion.
