AmCham Romania is pleased to invite you to the Corporate Governance – from a buzzword to a strategic pillar for sustainable development virtual conference, on October 28, 2020, between 10:00 – 12:00 p.m.

The conference is building on the Good Governance AmCham strategic priority and aims to emphasize the role of a solid compliance framework and corporate governance practices in increasing the investment profile of both private and public enterprises.

The conference concept is developed and driven by the AmCham Corporate Governance Committee, the working group in the AmCham advocacy platform that focuses on promoting and fostering a business – led compliance culture in Romania, increasing engagement with key stakeholders for promoting corporate governance, including top management and higher education institutions in Romania, including through roundtables and other events  and elaborating corporate governance guidelines to assist members and the business community at large implementing compliance systems.

The conference is organized in partnership with Ziarul Financiar and will feature representatives of the investment community, business executives and entrepreneurs who will share their perspective on the importance of reputation and trust in making investment decisions and the need for a business led compliance culture.
