Corporate Governance

The Corporate Governance Committee advocates for improving corporate governance practices in Romania by engaging with stakeholders from the private and the public sector in Romania, as well as with the relevant authorities at the national and EU levels. The committee aims to foster an ethical behavior across society that supports the competitiveness, the integrity and the transparency of the business climate in Romania.

The Current areas of focus on the agenda of the  Corporate Governance Committee are:  

• Promote and nurture and ethical behavior across sectors and a business-led compliance culture in Romania
• Create and share corporate governance resources
• Increase engagement with key stakeholders for promoting corporate governance, including top management, entrepreneurs, public authorities and higher education institutions in Romania
• Promote a transparent and predictable normative framework to support the development of a sustainable corporate governance culture in Romania
