The 8^th edition of the Competition in Public Procurement Conference, organized by AmCham Romania in partnership with the Romanian Competition Council, will take place on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, Constanța Ballroom.

Building on the success of previous editions, the conference offers a valuable platform for dialogue among private sector representatives, contracting authorities, and public institutions involved in the procurement process. The focus is on identifying practical solutions to reduce competition risks and enhance the efficiency, transparency, and integrity of public procurement.

This year’s discussions will explore the challenges posed by the new EU public procurement directives package and their implementation at the national level, the impact of Regulation (EU) 2022/2560 on foreign subsidies distorting the internal market (FSR) in public procurement procedures, as well as approaches to rewarding innovation in procurement practices.

The working language of the event will be Romanian.
