CNSC Complaints Procedure in the Context of New Public Procurement Legislation

AmCham Romania invites you to the “CNSC Complaints Procedure in the Context of New Public Procurement Legislation” seminar organized together with the National Council for Complaints Solving/ Consiliul National de Solutionare a Contestatiilor (CNSC), in cooperation with the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania, the German-Romanian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Romania, on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, at Hotel Novotel, Paris Rive Droite Hall.

The event aims at bringing up and discussing the specific complaints-related procedures and the main aspects signaled in practice and sanctioned by CNSC, such as: complaints referring to procedures, tender specifications, reasons for rejecting the offer, cancellation of procedure, mistakes in formulating the complaints etc. The event will also result in proposals for the improvement of public procurement-related legislative framework and of CNSC functioning.

During the event, participants are invited to raise their concerns, ask questions and propose improvements to the CNSC President and experts, getting direct feedback from them.

In preparation, AmCham members are kindly invited to fill in the questionnaire attached below and return it to mdupleac@amcham.ro by January 15, 2010. The answers - collected so that the anonymity is preserved – will be processed as an initial input to CNSC, that would allow a complete clarification of the issues during the seminar.

Participation to the seminar is open only to members of AmCham Romania, French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania, the German-Romanian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Romania, in exchange of a participation fee of 100 RON per person, payable in advance to the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (Asociatia Camera de Comert Americana in Romania) account opened with Citibank: RO92CITI0000000825062009.

Late cancellations or “no-shows” will not be refunded. Discussions will be in Romanian, and translation into English will be provided.
