AmCham Romania is pleased to invite members to a Business Breakfast with Teodora Preoteasa, EU Funds Director, Investment and Development Bank of Romania (BID), on September 23, 2026, between 09:00 – 11:00, at the AmCham Romania office.
Discussions will focus on the Just Transition Participation Fund (FPTJ), a new financial instrument managed by BID, designed to support business investments in the counties covered by the Just Transition Programme.
The instrument aims to accelerate investment in technologies that are critical to Europe, strengthen regional competitiveness, foster innovation, and support economic diversification in counties affected by the transition towards a climate-neutral economy.
The financing will be available through a continuously open call for applications, with projects assessed on a rolling basis. The sectors of particular interest include IT&C, healthcare, defence, and energy.
Eligible beneficiaries are SMEs and large enterprises implementing eligible investment projects in Dolj, Gorj, Prahova, Mureș, Hunedoara, and Galați counties.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the financing opportunities available through FPTJ, the types of investments targeted, and the support available to companies in preparing investment projects.
The discussion will be held in Romanian.
Attendance is open to AmCham members based on prior confirmation by September 18, 2026, 17:00. Participation is limited to 40 people, on a first-come, first-served basis. If registrations exceed available seats, priority will be given to one participant per member company to ensure broad representation.
