• Outlook for the upcoming Health Technology Assessment (HTA) framework
• The innovation bottleneck: despite HTA evaluation timelines being reduced to 100 days, the subsequent reimbursement phase has expanded to 461 days, resulting in a backlog of 146 indications—40% in oncology—which could nearly double by 2026 without structural reform
• PNRR-funded digitalization (€4 million): transitioning from Excel-based tracking to a unified medicine nomenclature enabling end-to-end traceability
• European legislative developments, with a focus on the Critical Medicines Act
• Strengthening Romania’s clinical trials ecosystem
