REZOLV ENERGY

Rezolv Energy is one of the leading renewable energy producers in Southeastern Europe. Established in 2022 by Actis, a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure, Rezolv currently has a 2.3GW portfolio of large-scale wind and solar projects. Three of Rezolv’s four projects are in Romania: VIFOR, a 461MW wind farm in Buzău County; Dunarea East & West, a 600MW project in Constanța County; and Dama Solar, a 1,044MW photovoltaic park in Arad County. VIFOR and Dunarea East & West are among the largest onshore wind projects in Europe. Dama Solar will be the continent’s biggest solar park once it comes onstream. Rezolv’s fourth project, St. George, is a 225MW solar park which is being built on a decommissioned airfield in northeastern Bulgaria.

In total, building out this portfolio will require investments of €2.3 billion, creating over 1,200 direct jobs and driving regional economic development.

As well as securing financing of €712 million from lenders including the IFC and EBRD, Rezolv has so far signed six power purchase agreements (PPAs), with international companies including Deutsche Telekom and Bekaert. Together, these cover 460GWh per year (350GWh in Romania alone) – more PPA capacity than any other developer in the region.
