Heidelberg Materials România is one of the most important cement, ready mixed concrete (RMC) and aggregates producers in Romania, with 3 cement plants, 18 RMC plants and 13 aggregates quarries and ballast pits. The company’s investments in environment protection rise to over Euro 61 million since 1998 until present and are aimed at implementing the most advanced standards of environment protection and at using the most modern technology for the reduction of noise, dust and emissions. Within Heidelberg Materials România’s efforts to environment protection and supporting local communities, a strategic role is played by the implementation of efficient CSR programs and of campaigns dedicated to protecting the environment by undergoing a permanent activity dedicated to wastes co-processing.
