The British School of Bucharest, founded in 2000, is an international British school providing the National Curriculum for England to girls and boys aged 2-18 in Romania.
Having consistently earned an 'excellent' rating in all areas from the UK International Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in 2018 and again in 2022, it stands as a testament to our commitment to high standards. This is the highest possible rating to be achieved following an ISI inspection, and proof that BSB provides an education of the highest quality.
Unique amongst Bucharest schools, all our teachers are English speakers with experience teaching the National Curriculum for England. The final qualification in Year 13, the A-Level, is globally recognised and allows access to universities worldwide.
With increasing globalisation, it is becoming even more important for parents to secure a high standard of education, and the National Curriculum for England and its values remain as highly regarded as ever.
