Asociatia Daruieste Aripi

Daruieste Aripi is improving survival rates and enhancing the quality of life for ALL children with cancer in Romania.

The NGO most innovative initiatives include: the development of the National Registry for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology (incident data and survival studies validated by European Commission experts), the Home-Care Model Program – first initiative for comprehensive care (hospital-to-children’s home) in Romania and the DARA Platform – a pioneering digital solution facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration at all levels of care (both in Romania and abroad) for children with cancer.

As the strategic partner of the Romanian Society for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology, Daruieste Aripi is a co-author to the National Cancer Control Plan (Pediatric Chapter) – its proposals have been fully adopted in the law passed by the Romanian Parliament.

Daruieste Aripi is member of the St. Jude Global Alliance in the United States and Childhood Cancer International.
