Established in 1974 in the USA and in 2015 in Romania, American Councils for International Education is a premier, international nonprofit creating educational opportunities that prepare individuals and institutions to succeed in our interconnected world. Through academic exchanges, overseas language immersion, research and educational development programs, American Councils designs and administers innovative programs that broaden individual perspectives, increase knowledge and deepen understanding. American Councils creates transformational learning experiences at both local and global level, with a lasting impact on participants, their institutions and their communities.
