At AmCham Romania, we believe Romania has the prerequisites to become a regional innovation, production, and export champion in the defense industry, and this is why we partnered with the Aspen Institute Romania and invited policy and industry leaders to a practical dialogue on untapping this potential. 

Organized in the context of the ”NATO Industry Forum” Romania hosts on Nov 5 & 6, our Defense Roundtable on Nov 4 focused on opportunities for Romania to lead European efforts in cybersecurity and to integrate in global dual-use technology ecosystems. 

We welcomed remarks from senior Romanian Government and NATO officials and private sector leaders to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks for participating in the discussion:
