• AmCham was one of the earliest promoters of corporate social responsibility in Romania, launching CSR programs in 2003 to encourage companies to engage in their community’s problems. In partnership with Asociaţia pentru Relaţii Comunitare (ARC), AmCham has organized CSR-focused conferences, best practices exchanges, and public-private consultations. To acknowledge companies, organizations, and individuals whose CSR initiatives stand out and make significant changes for the better in communities throughout the country, AmCham and ARC launched the People for People Gala, the event that shared and awarded great stories of generosity and impact.
