Samsung Electronics Romania and Bulgaria announces appointing Victor Armășelu as Vice-president in our company, being the first Romanian employee to fill this position and amongst few of local managers in European subsidiaries.

Starting with 2012, when Victor Armășelu has joined Samsung Electronics Romania, Victor has been promoted from Head of Visual Display Romania to Consumer Electronics Director in 2014 (audio-video & appliances products) for Romania and starting with 2016 for Bulgaria as well.

In his new role as Vice-president, he will be responsible amongst others, for setting the company’s vision and coordinating the trade strategies with the aim to consolidate the company’s position on the market and to reach the business objectives.

Before joining Samsung Electronics Romania’s team, Victor Armășelu has developed his expertise in areas such as: sales and distribution, major accounts management, trade and brand marketing and client service management, successfully holding top-management and entrepreneurship commercial functions in different industries: B2B Chemicals – Manager Regional Loctite within Henkel Romania; Automotive – Corporate Sales Director with Volvo Cars importer; FMGC – Vice-president Sales, Distribution and Trade Marketing SABMiller (Ursus Breweries) and entrepreneurship – management consultancy. 

Victor Armășelu is a graduate of the Maritime University in Constanța and Licensed Chief Maritime Engineer with 7 years of international shipping experience, holds an E-MBA issued by  Kennesaw University (Atlanta, USA), PMP certified by Project Management Institute (Philadelphia, USA) and Lean Six Sigma by IASSC (Phoenix, USA).
