Building upon two successful sessions with UiPathers’ children at the peak of the lockdown in April, UiPath, the leader in enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA), organizes an open 1-hour Academy Live Kids next Wednesday, at 4 pm BST / 10 am EST.

The external online learning event is open to children aged 8-13 everywhere who are willing to experiment with their first automations. To join next week’s session they need to register here

During the Academy Live Kids, participants will get acquainted to software robots and the type of work they can do and will be guided to automate the game Marty the Martian. They will see demos from the UiPath library of kid-friendly automations and learn how to complete additional automation challenges and earn certificates.

Andrew Rayner, VP of Customer Success EMEA at UiPath, said:

Despite lockdown measures gradually lifting, most children will still be homeschooled at least until the summer holiday. It is with them in mind that we opened the Academy Live Kids session to the general public. And it complements our mission to provide young generations with access to digital skills that will be essential at the workplace in the very near future. We’re excited to spark their curiosity and hopefully embark some of them onto a new passion!

As precaution measures, UiPath will ask children to enlist the help of an adult who needs to give consent for their participation. During the live session, participants will not be able to share their screen, talk or direct message other participants and their contact information will not be visible to anyone.
