RTPR has assisted Resource Partners, one of the largest CEE private equity funds, in relation to the sale of its entire stake in Ia Bilet SRL, the well-known Romanian ticketing platform, to PLG Romania, part of AS Piletilevi PLG. Alongside Resource Partners, the company’s founders also divested their entire stake to PLG Romania. With operations in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Romania, PLG group is one of the reputable ticketing companies in the region. The transaction was signed on 20 May and is subject to customary regulatory approvals and the fulfilment of the conditions precedent agreed by the parties.

The RTPR team was coordinated by Alina Stavaru (Partner) and Andrei Tosa (Senior Associate), and further included Iulia Calin (Junior Associate). Roxana Ionescu (Partner) and Serban Halmagean (Managing Associate) advised on competition aspects of the deal.

Alina and her team at RTPR delivered exceptional work on the exit of iaBilet and BestMusic. They are strategic thinkers as well as excellent technicians, with a strong commercial instinct and a pragmatic approach to negotiation. Their advice was consistently clear, well-judged and business-focused throughout the transaction”, said Miruna Popa, Investment Manager at Resource Partners.

We were honoured to assist Resource Partners throughout its full investment cycle in iaBilet. In September 2025 we announced the closing of its acquisition, and just eight months later, we are marking its exit. This transaction underscores the strong appeal of high-quality Romanian businesses. It perfectly illustrates the sophistication of today’s M&A landscape, and we were privileged to help our clients navigate the entire process seamlessly”, said Alina Stavaru, Partner at RTPR.

We were glad to support our clients on a complex and dynamic transaction and to help bring this landmark deal to signing. It was a pleasure to contribute to such an important milestone for all parties involved and we would like to congratulate them on this successful outcome”, said Andrei Tosa, Senior Associate at RTPR.
