Ana-Maria Corugă has been part of the Simion & Baciu team since its inception in 2019. From the position of Senior Associate, Ana-Maria was from the very beginning an essential part of the Simion & Baciu project and contributed significantly to the law firm's activity.

Cristiana Prodescu joined Simion & Baciu in 2021 and was, since the beginning of our collaboration, an important member of the Litigation department of Simion & Baciu, having an essential contribution to the development of our dispute resolution practice.

About Ana-Maria Corugă: Ana-Maria is a lawyer within the Bucharest Bar since 2015, having a vast experience in the fields that fall within her expertise, such as consumer protection and advertising, intellectual property, medical and pharmaceutical law, personal data protection.
Prior to the set-up of Simion & Baciu, Ana-Maria was a key member of the practice of intellectual property, consumer protection & pharma of one of the most important law firms in Romania, coordinated at that time by the founding partners of Simion&Baciu.
Ana-Maria is assisting her clients in relation to commercial and contractual legal matters, as well as with respect to highly regulated issues, the client portfolio including major operators in the retail, FMCG, automotive or tobacco products.
Ana-Maria is actively and constantly involved in the activity carried within the working groups and task forces of various industry associations where Simion&Baciu is a member.
About Cristiana Prodescu: Cristiana has been a lawyer since December 2013, having significant experience in the field of litigation since entering the profession. Before joining Simion & Baciu, Cristiana was part of the litigation department of one of the most important local law firms, but also of a major multinational law firm of Austrian origin, with offices in more than 10 countries in Europe.
Cristiana assists her clients in a wide range of issues involving both advice (with a focus on pre-litigation advice and out-of-court settlements) and representation in contentious disputes (representation of clients before courts, including arbitration courts and other jurisdictional bodies).
The acquired portfolio includes assistance and representation of major international and domestic companies in various types of litigation (commercial, intellectual property, employment, in the sphere of consumer protection and of public procurement) and in arbitration proceedings. She has been actively involved in conducting risk management due diligence, regulatory compliance, as well as in several foreclosure proceedings and insolvency/ restructuring projects.
In the field of labor law, Cristiana assists clients in relation to contentious issues, but also on a wide range of consultancy issues related to the staff employed, from with the drafting of individual employment contracts and internal regulations, to providing of support in the day-to-day activity in the field of labor law issues for our clients.
