Popovici Nițu & Asociații picked up the Law firm of the year in Romania award from the prestigious UK magazine The Lawyer, at The Lawyer’s European Awards 2012 event, held on October 25th, 2012 at the Hotel Hermitage, Monte Carlo.

The awards were judged by a panel of UK managing and senior partners and senior in-house counsel of multinational companies: Caterpillar, Thomas Eggar, CBS Outdoor, Addleshaw Goddard, Travers Smith, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, HBO Europe, Unisys, G4S, Rusal, Macfarlanes, Wood Group, Clyde & Co, InterContinental Hotels Group and Stephenson Harwood.

When deciding the winners, the judging panel considered criteria, such as ability of managing the pressures of the economic environment while maintaining high levels of client service, strategic vision, robust partnership culture, strong financial performance and growth, consistent excellence in delivery of legal services, as well as outstanding talent management.
