The contribution of KPMG leaders in Romania and Moldova is being recognized both locally and regionally through the assumption of new responsibilities within KPMG's Central and Eastern Europe leadership team. Ramona Jurubiță takes on the role of Head of Clients & Markets for Central and Eastern Europe, while continuing in her position as Country Managing Partner of KPMG in Romania and Moldova. René Schöb has been appointed Head of Tax & Legal for KPMG in Central and Eastern Europe, while Mădălina Racovițan, Partner, Tax Advisory and Head of People Services, assumes the role of Head of Tax & Legal for KPMG in Romania and Moldova.
KPMG in Romania and Moldova is further strengthening its leadership team through the appointment of Raluca Enache and Alexandru Chirigiu as Partners, alongside a series of promotions to Associate Partner, Director, Senior Manager, Manager, and other key positions across the organization. These appointments and promotions reflect the firm's ongoing commitment to supporting professional development, recognizing the contributions of those who drive the organization's success, and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
Raluca Enache, Partner, Tax Advisory, Head of EU Tax Centre
Raluca has joined the KPMG Partnership while retaining her role as leader of KPMG's EU Tax Centre group for the EMA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. With more than 19 years of experience, Raluca supports clients and KPMG member firms in understanding the complexities of European tax law and assessing the impact of European and international tax developments on their operations across Europe. She coordinates KPMG's network of European Union tax law specialists and analyzes how EU Member States implement key EU and OECD initiatives.
Raluca frequently represents KPMG in its engagement with European institutions, with a focus on anti-abuse measures and tax transparency initiatives, and is a member of the leadership group which coordinates KPMG's global network of international tax and transaction tax (M&A) specialists.
Alexandru Chirigiu, Partner, Tax Advisory, Head of Accounting and Tax Compliance
Alexandru joins KPMG's leadership team with more than two decades of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial leadership. He leads the Accounting and Tax Compliance practice in Romania and Moldova, helping organizations modernize their finance functions and navigate a constantly-evolving regulatory environment.
Recognized for his expertise in finance transformation, team development, and leveraging technology to enhance performance, Alexandru works closely with entrepreneurs and international companies to build more agile and future-ready organizations. A member of ACCA, CECCAR, and CCF, Alexandru is actively involved in promoting professional excellence and innovation within the accounting and finance profession.
