Filip & Company law firm has assisted Alpha Bank, one of Romania’s leading banks, in connection with the completion of the acquisition of the retail activities including the digital payments application, credit card and e-money products, customer portfolio and employees of Orange Money România, the digital financial services provider of Orange România. The acquisition documents were signed in August 2023 and regulatory approvals have since been obtained.
