Citi announced the launch of three new generative AI (GenAI) tools to its employees in Romania, which will make it easier and simpler to get work done at the bank:

• Citi Stylus: A productivity tool that provides immediate insights from documents in various formats. Citi Stylus offers summarization, comparison capabilities, and intelligent question answering, enabling employees to quickly extract key information and make informed decisions.

• Citi Stylus Workspaces: The next generation of Citi Stylus, leveraging conversational AI to streamline various tasks. This tool assists in drafting emails, creating speaker notes for presentations, summarizing lengthy documents, and developing Q&A materials, simplifying complex tasks and boosting productivity.

• Citi Assist: A desktop assistant that helps colleagues navigate Citi's policies and procedures. Currently, Citi Assist can search Citi documents related to policies and procedures, with plans to expand its content base over time. This tool provides quick access to critical information, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.

Citi’s approach to GenAI aligns with Citi’s culture of innovation, where colleagues from across the bank are experimenting with this technology and providing feedback to help inform future capabilities.

The launch is part of a significant global investment designed to empower its workforce, enhance productivity, and solidify its position as a leading digital bank. To date, approximately 170,000 colleagues at Citi have access to the tools across 29 countries, with plans to expand throughout the year.
