Branislav Bibic has assumed the leadership position for Philip Morris Romania as of November 1st 2016. He is taking over this role from Steen Hjortholm who has been appointed Vice-President Human Resources in Russia.

Branislav Bibic was appointed Managing Director of Philip Morris International (PMI) in Romania and has started his mandate on November 1st 2016
.

Branislav is coming to Romania from Lausanne, Switzerland, where he worked at PMI Duty Free as global Director Corporate Affairs. He is a 20 years experienced business professional with 9 years within Philip Morris. He started his career in Philip Morris Zagreb in 2007 and was a member of Management Team for Central Europe – South region (General Manager in Croatia). He progressed through various key positions in markets from Eastern and Central Europe region such as Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Oxford.

With a strong & relevant experience in Eastern Europe, knowing well the specifics and challenges of this region, Branislav Bibic will continue to lead Philip Morris Romania’s management team towards performance in the country and further alignment to the Philip Morris international strategy. He will consolidate Philip Morris International highly innovative business approach and will continue the open dialogue with all of the industry’s stakeholders, from authorities to key opinion leaders and all those concerned.
