Bondoc & Asociatii advised on Romanian law aspects related to the acquisition by Faurecia SA (one of the world’s largest automotive equipment suppliers), of a majority stake in HELLA GmbH & Co, a listed company developing and manufacturing lighting technology, with more than 36.000 employees at over 135 sites in 35 countries. The overall transaction involved numerous jurisdictions, with White&Case LLP as lead counsel.
The combination of Faurecia and HELLA will form the 7th largest automotive technology supplier in the world. The transaction is expected to close early 2022.
