Young People Ask, Experts Answer - Debates with the new generation, a joint project by AmCham Romania and Junior Achievement, 7th session

AmCham Romania is pleased to announce the Spring 2022 edition of the Next Generation Debates .7, organized in partnership with Junior Achievement Romania. Part of the #FutureReady initiative, the project promotes education and training of the new generations, to quickly adapt to the future challenges and opportunities. 

On Wednesday, March 2nd, between 15:00 - 16:30,  via Microsoft Teams, you are warmly invited to attend an interactive, lively session aiming to facilitate direct dialogue between students and professionals focused on the functioning of the stock exchange, its mechanisms, and ways of working. 

AmCham Romania, through the Capital Markets and Financial Services Committee, has volunteered the speakers and discussion topics for this event, namely: 

  • How to make our life better throughout financial literacy: Mr. Cristian Agalopol, Central & Eastern Europe Head- Securities Services, Citi Romania 
  • The decision-making process of an investor and how to evaluate your options: Mr. Remus Ioan Dănilă, PR & IR Officer at the Bucharest Stock Exchange 
  • Gambler vs. educated investor: Ms. Narcisa Oprea, Schoenherr, Bucharest 

Following a brief introduction, the event is organized around a Q&A format where attendants ask questions to a panel of experts. The attendants are high-school and university students enrolled in Junior Achievement Romania programs, and interested in finding out more about the economy and the world of finances.  

The discussion will be in Romanian and all registered participants will receive the connection details via email. 

Participation is open to all AmCham members, based on prior registration.
