AmCham Romania Events How to Measure the Social Return on Investment?

AmCham Romania is pleased to invite members to a seminar offered by Progress Foundation on May 14, 2024, between 16:30 and 18:00.

Please note that this workshop will be an IN-PERSON event, organized at AmCham Office (11 Ion Campineanu St., Union International Center, 4th floor).

Reporting on ESG (environment/ social/ governance) has become a must, due to the requirements of the European Commission, but also because the Boards of Directors want to understand better what is the social impact created by the company, as result of different CSR projects.

If the environmental and governance dimensions are easier the measure, because one can count on different platforms the carbon footprint or can evaluate the types of measures which ensure transparency or accountability in connections to shareholders or direct stakeholders, the social dimension of a business is not easy to grasp and is harder to measure.

Our aim with this workshop is to present a tool developed in UK and US and adapted by the Progress Foundation in Romania, which assesses the social return on investment for social projects. We will present examples, challenges and report samples and answer questions of this topic, to help companies better prepare and communicate their achievements.
