CSR Workshop by The Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation

AmCham Romania is pleased to invite members to a new CSR workshop within the AmCham Learning & Innovation Center offered by The Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation on April 16, 2019, between 15:00 and 17:00.

Overview:

Social Involvement is becoming more and more important for companies. Companies that demonstrate their commitment to various causes are better perceived than companies whose corporate social involvement is nonexistent. The expectations of stakeholders are higher, a wide range of the company’s resources could be mobilised for the welfare of the community, and the outcomes of social work could be more than you can imagine. We invite you to a workshop tailored for professionals working in communication, public relations, human resources, marketing and CSR, or leaders who want to use their taxes for a good cause. How much good a company can do in the local communities, or even beyond that?

During the seminar, participants will:

• Identify the company’s reasons to be socially involved, as branding or engagement of stakeholders;
• Acknowledge the company’s existing resources to support a social cause;
• Learn how the company can benefit from fiscal facilities, using the legal frame;
• Be inspired by a series of practical examples implemented locally.

About the facilitator:

Ioana Petrea – Fundraising and Communication Director
Ioana has over 10 years of experience within NGOs and she has been building corporate partnerships for good causes with multinational companies or local business. She has implemented various CSR activities, with different objectives or levels of support besides companies. She has coordinated fundraising events and campaigns and created long-term mechanisms enabling companies or individuals to contribute for their social cause, with outstanding results. She was awarded with the Medal „Custodian of the Romanian Crown” for her essential contribution in raising funds for social projects development, and also received the Award of „Architect of Good Industry” at People for People Gala for training NGO sector to mobilise resources.

The presentation will be delivered in Romanian, but there will also be an English version available.
