AmCham Roundtable on Third Parties Anti-corruption Due Diligence

AmCham Romania is pleased to invite members to a roundtable on Third Parties Anti-Corruption and Due Diligence on April 3, 2024, between 9:00 am and 11:00 am at AmCham Romania (11 Ion Câmpineanu Street, Union International Center).

Third party anti-corruption due diligence activities are performed by companies - in all industries - in order to know their business partners and the potential corruption risks raised by any third party that has a business relationship with a certain company. Therefore, before entering into relationships with third parties, companies should take a few active steps to ensure that potential corruption risks flowing from these relationships are responsibly evaluated and managed.

The session will build on previous on Third Parties Anti-Corruption Due Diligence Guidelines published by AmCham and will focus on best practices and risk assessment, examining the primary challenges and vulnerabilities encountered in third-party dealings. We will tackle aspects of relevance for companies, such as:

• Main Risks in Dealing with Third Parties
• Know Your Customer and International Sanctions
