Restart Energy One SA was founded in 2016 and is one of the top energy companies in Romania. In 2021 we welcomed Tejas Capital Group an US Investment fund among our shareholders.

Restart Energy covers a wide domain in the energy field, energy supply, energy transition services and renewable energy production. Our strong focus on innovation is the main driver for progress and that is why we built it in our corporate core value alongside ethics, inclusion and respect for our customers and the environment.

The company has 3 main business line, downstream where it has a strong presence as an energy supplier, services with EPC and related services for commercial projects as well as utility scale and upstream with a project pipeline of more than 1 GW in development.

Our innovation DNA materialised in many firsts in the Romania as well as in the global markets:

In 2020 we launched the first fully functional tokenised platform dedicated to accelerate and incentivise green energy transition and circular economy (www.redplatform.com) with unique products and services: carbon credits and guarantees of origin in a tokenised form, integrated marketplace, carbon footprint calculator for corporations as well as individuals and a new certification standard

In 2021 we did the first convertible green bond in Romania and successfully raised EUR 3.2 MN The bonds are listed on the Bucharest Exchange https://www.bvb.ro/FinancialInstruments/Details/FinancialInstrumentsDetails.aspx?s=REO26
