MET Romania Energy

MET Romania is an integrated energy services provider, with operations in the natural gas and power markets. The company's activities include supply, consultancy, balancing services and renewable energy generation. With more than 15 years of experience in the local market, MET Romania is part of the MET Group, headquartered in Switzerland, with presence in 17 countries, 30 national natural gas markets and 39 international trading centres.

Established in 2009, MET Romania started its activity on the natural gas trading market one year later. In 2014, the company expanded its activity to the power segment as well. Two strategic actions contributed to the further development of the company: the merger with Repower Furnizare Romania in 2017 and the acquisition of RWE Energie in 2018.
