For 30 years, education was a leading priority for AmCham Romania and #AmCham members, and 2023, as AmCham celebrates 30 years in Romania, could be no different.
An add-on project of the AmCham30 agenda is to equip pupils in 30 classes within underprivileged communities with school supplies for the school year starting September 2023. AmCham committed 30% of raised sponsorships in 2023 to an education initiative addressing Romania’s poorest and most vulnerable pupils. 766 children in 10 communities will receive a fully equipped backpack, notebooks, an equipped pencil case, watercolors, a pair of new shoes, a pair of pants & a blouse/shirt and two books.
