Lidl Romania continues its mission to contribute to a better future through simple and sustainable actions, both within the company's operations and externally, particularly in the communities where the retailer is present.

The company has defined six strategic areas of intervention and action in its sustainability strategy: Biodiversity Respect, Ethical Behavior, Health Promotion, Openness to Dialogue, Resource Conservation, and Environmental Protection.

Lidl Romania is also actively involved in addressing social issues in the communities it operates in and contributes to a better future through long-term support for programs related to biodiversity conservation, environmental protection, ethical behavior, access to education and medical services, and open dialogue. In 2022, the retailer invested over 38 million lei and supported over 90 NGOs that have a positive impact both nationally and on future generations.
