The race of 30 years of education in Romania: an online debate/Wed, July 15

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its activity in Romania, World Vision carried out a research that outlines the general framework defining the Romanian educational system, with the prioritization of key points, indicators and obstacles for pupils' situation.

The research is called The Race of 30 years of education in Romania and will be launched in a large online debate, broadcasted LIVE on the Facebook and Youtube channels of World Vision Romania and Edupedu.ro’s Facebook page, on Wednesday, July 15th, at 9 AM. World Vision Romania will discuss the financing of the education system, the strategies for education in the coming years, how the 2020-2021 school year will look like and how the quality of the school is reflected in the education of our children.

Since nothing can be achieved without the support of authorities, the following people confirmed their attendance to this event: Raluca TURCAN, Deputy Prime Minister, Government of Romania; Monica ANISIE, Minister of Education and Research; Ligia DECA, Presidential Adviser, Department of Education and Research within the Presidential Administration; Vlad ALEXANDRESCU, senator, member of the Commission for Education, Science, Youth and Sports, Parliament of Romania; Florin MANOLE, deputy, member of the Commission for Labor and Social Protection, Parliament of Romania, Șerban IOSIFESCU, researcher in the science of education, president of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance of Pre-University Education; Antonia PUP, president of the Student National Council; Gelu DUMINICĂ, executive director of the "Together" Agency; Roxana ASAVEI, representative of the Children's Advisory Council, World Vision Romania. On behalf of World Vision Romania, Mihaela Nabăr, National Director, and Gabriela Paleru, Advocacy Director will attend. The event will be moderated by Raluca Pantazi, editor-in-chief of EduPedu.ro.
