New Strategy Center is pleased to announce the 2026 edition of the “Rebuilding Ukraine: Security, Opportunities, Investment” forum, to be held on 22–23 October 2026 in Bucharest.
This two-day international conference will bring together institutional leaders, business representatives, investors, and experts to examine Romania’s contribution to Ukraine’s reconstruction and to identify concrete business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Special emphasis will be placed on the economic recovery and reconstruction of Southern Ukraine, among the most affected regions by the war. Representatives of Ukrainian regions neighboring Romania will attend and present investment opportunities, including: Transcarpathia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson. Kyiv region will participate also to this important event.
This forum aims to provide a platform for discussion and debate on one of the most important issues in European politics: the reconstruction of Ukraine. The conference represents a natural continuation of the events dedicated to Romania’s role in Ukraine’s reconstruction process, organized by New Strategy Center in December 2023 and December 2025.
“Rebuilding Ukraine: Security, Opportunities, Investment” will bring together leading institutional actors, experts, companies from Romania and Ukraine, international investors, and representatives of local administrations to discuss the complex reconstruction process of Ukraine, strategic directions and projects, Romania’s role in Ukraine’s reconstruction, and to identify concrete opportunities for economic cooperation and partnerships.
