European Tech Startups Make Debut in the USA, Set to Pitch in Three Key Cities

February 21, 2024

Fifteen emerging European tech startups are set to make their debut in the United States as they gear up to pitch in front of investors across three prominent cities: San Francisco on February 27th, Palo Alto on February 29th, and Austin on March 6th.

These exclusive pitch events, open to venture capitalists, angel investors, business innovation executives, and industry leaders in Health, Education, HR, Insurance, Real Estate, Medical Clinics & Hospitals, Art Galleries, Food, Vineyards, and Landscape, offer a rare opportunity to witness hidden gems of Europe firsthand. With limited seating available, interested parties are encouraged to secure their spots early by booking seats: https://rubikhub.typeform.com/to/toIQyR5T

The events serve as a cornerstone of the Rubik Garage Accelerator, developed by Rubik Hub, a leading startup supporter in Romania. Each event is strategically hosted at renowned venues: Highwire HQ (727 Sansome St., 1st floor) in San Francisco, Silkroad Innovation Hub (320 High St) in Palo Alto, and Austin Chamber of Commerce (535E 5th St.) in Austin, all scheduled between 3:30 – 7 PM.

Among the carefully curated startups participating in the delegation are Readmio, Sessions, VAUNT, iflows, Kotys, Rayscape, Nifty Learning, CodeWell, Virbe, BEESERS, Atfield, Soft Edge, Langly, AIDE, and FoodFix. These startups are eager to establish connections with potential investors, clients, and partners as they embark on their journey to expand into the USA. At the pitch event in Austin, the most promising team will receive an investment of a minimum of $100,000 from Fortech Investments, a European VC fund and one of the strategic partners of the program.

Europe has increasingly become a vibrant hub for startup investing and innovation, with US firms contributing a substantial 42% of funding to European startups in the past year alone. By attending these events, participants will gain exclusive access to hidden gems determined to conquer the competitive landscape of the States.

The startups are part of the Rubik Garage Accelerator, a program dedicated to facilitating their entry into the U.S. market by providing invaluable access to knowledge and networking opportunities. Collectively, this cohort has already raised $32 million, with $10 million bootstrapped. Vlad Gliga, the CEO of Rubik Hub, says about the cohort:

“We are eager to create a bridge between European and US startup ecosystems. The founders from this cohort are determined to expand here and have already made steps in this sense - most have already incorporated in the USA and generated revenue from US clients. Our rigorous selection process, in collaboration with investors and VC funds, ensures that we bring together the most promising teams for this program. We are happy to facilitate meaningful connections for these emergent startups from seed to A status and warmly welcome anyone interested in supporting their scaling process.”

Rubik Garage Accelerator is organized by Rubik Hub and the North-East Regional Development Agency of Romania, with the support of strategic partners including Fortech Investments, Google, WIT Angels Club, and AmCham Romania. The four-month program includes 25+ workshops, 70+ meetings with investors, and 100+ office hours with experienced mentors. The pitch events are supported by US Landing Partners such as SILKROAD Innovation Hub, Austin Chamber of Commerce, Highwire, Austin Technology Council, Austin Venture Association, Endeavor, Silicon Valley Proptech Association, Menlo College, Plug and Play, EIT, International Accelerator, Honorary Consulate of Romania in San Francisco, UiPath, Flowlie, and Linnify.
