The International Software Distribution company, which took over the management of all commercial transactions between Dell Software Group and its partners in Romania, Bulgaria and the Adriatic Region at the beginning of the year, announced its official launch on Thursday, 21 January during an exclusive event held at the Residence of the Ambassador of the United States in Romania, His Excellency, Mr. Hans Klemm.
The launch of International Software Distribution is part of Dell Software’s operations development strategy in the region* (*Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia), through strengthening the authorized partners’ network and investments in perfecting technical, sales and marketing resources.

The event was attended by the Minister of Communications and the Information Society, Mr. Marius Bostan, as well as Dell business partners, systems integrators representatives S&T, Kapsch Romania, ETA2U, Comparex Romania, Intrarom, Lasting, Logic Computer, Net Brinel and some of the largest consulting companies in Romania. Prominent members of AmCham – The American Chamner of Commerce in Romania – also participated at the event, as well as representatives of governmental institutions: Cyberint Center, CERT-RO, The Competition Council, RASIROM and ANCOM.
The launch of International Software Distribution took place with the support of the American Embassy in Bucharest, among the participants being, besides His Excellency, the Ambassador Hans Klemm, Mr. Dean Thompson, Deputy Chief of the US Diplomatic Mission, and Mr. Greg O’Connor, Regional Senior Commercial Officer Southeast Europe.
