22 American companies decided in 1993 to establish a Romanian chapter of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. AmCham's outstanding evolution since then is a story about the determination and hard work of becoming a business environment opinion leader and a key stakeholder for the Romanian authorities.
AmCham speaks on behalf of foreign companies, American or European, committed to Romania on investment and competitiveness issues. It aims to ensure a growth-orientated business and investment climate in this country. AmCham facilitates the resolution of topics that impact business and plays a role in creating better understanding of the authorities’ positions on business matters.
AmCham can take pride in having a significant contribution in the Romanian success story and in establishing a trustworthy business framework, favorable for investment, developments and growth for the last 25 years, and I am looking forward for new accomplishments in the years to come.
