President Cristian Sporiș Vice-President, Head of Corporate Banking - RAIFFEISEN BANK ROMANIA

Cristian Sporiș is the Vice-President of Raiffeisen Bank in Romania, responsible for overseeing the Bank's Corporate lending.

Cristian Sporiș is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies, with a degree in Banks and Stock Exchange. He started his career in the Treasury Department of the National Bank of Greece and, beginning with 2002, he joined Raiffeisen Bank, immediately after the bank took over Banca Agricola.

He had various key-functions within the Treasury and Capital Markets Division, up to that of Executive Director.

This capacity also favoured his appointment as Secretary of State with the Ministry of Public Finance in charge with the public debt and state aid in 2012. After six months he returned to Raiffeisen Bank as Vice President, when he became Vice President responsible for the bank corporate division.

Vice-President Daniela Nemoianu Senior Partner - NEMOIANU CONSULTING TAX & LAW

With 27 years of business and management advisory experience within Big4 in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, Daniela Nemoianu is a highly experienced top executive, having participated in hundreds of transactions and large projects, including greenfield investments, major privatization deals and governmental projects.

Her extensive representative roles have included Executive Partner of KPMG in Romania, Chair of the Supervisory Board of KPMG Central and Eastern Europe, Co-Chair of US OSAC in Romania, founder of Nemoianu Consulting. Her academic background is far-reaching and includes a Doctorate in Financial and Tax Law, as well as a Master’s degree in European Law, Pantheon-Sorbonne University & Bucharest University. She has also attended advanced business and leadership courses at Duke University, Harvard Business School and INSEAD.

Daniela has been an active contributor to AmCham’s actions and she has played an active role in the AmCham Board of Directors.  She acted as President of AmCham in 2015/16 and Vice President in 2018/2019, while she has also coordinated the activities of the Macroeconomics Task Force and the Environment

Vice-President Dinu Bumbăcea Country Managing Partner - PWC ROMANIA

Dinu is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications of the University Politehnica of Bucharest, holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology US and a Specialisation Diploma in Digital Image Processing from Supélec France.

He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK and of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania.

 Dinu has spent the past 30 years in professional services, of which the last 22 years as a partner, coordinating a wide range of consulting projects in Romania and CEE in various industries.

He is the Country Managing Partner and Advisory Leader of PwC in Romania and Moldova.

He also contributes to the wider community being the founder of the PwC Foundation and member of the Board of Trustees of the Romanian American Foundation. Dinu is married and is the happy father of 4 children.

Treasurer Luminița Runcan Deputy CEO, Chief Risk Officer - BANCA TRANSILVANIA

Luminita Runcan is part of BT since the bank’s very beginning in 1994. With a wide experience in treasury and risk management, she started her career in treasury and joined the top management team in 2013. 

Luminița coordinates eight of the most challenging areas in the bank, such as: compliance, risk management, antifraud, operational risk management and in addition, she chairs the Financial Markets Association.  


 

Member of the Board Jovan Radosavljevic General Manager - COCA-COLA HBC ROMANIA

Jovan Radosavljevic started his career at Coca-Cola HBC as a merchandiser in Serbia. Since 1998, he held various positions and, in 2009, became Sales Manager of Coca-Cola HBC in Serbia, expanding his responsibility to Montenegro in 2010 and Kosovo in 2011.


Jovan became well acquainted with Romanian market, due to almost three years spent here as Commercial Manager, during which he led his team to redefine the commercial strategy. He than led the operations of the company Pivara Skopje, a joint-venture between Coca-Cola HBC & Heineken, in FYROM, before being appointed General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Romania in 2018.

In the last years, Jovan pursued the objectives of a highly effective long-term growth strategy for the company, a strong people agenda, business adaptation during COVID-19 pandemic and building the growth premises towards post-pandemic context.

In 2019, Jovan held the position of AmCham Romania’s Vice-president focusing on topics such as business environment advocacy priorities, circular economy and sustainability or green financing.

Member of the Board Vlad Boeriu Tax & Legal Partner-in-charge - DELOITTE ROMANIA

With over 18 years of experience, Vlad is one of Deloitte's most important specialists in tax, internationally recognized by specialized rankings for his successful projects.

He leads Deloitte Romania’s largest practice - Tax and Legal - as Partner-in-Charge and is a member of the firm’s management committee.


Vlad offers tax consultancy and reporting services to multinational and large local companies in FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals and health, technology, energy etc. He assisted clients before tax authorities in numerous tax audits, appeals and litigations and in other proceedings such as binding ruling, obtaining tax incentives etc.

Vlad  specializes in structuring foreign investments (setting business models, financing methods), supply chain tax optimization, mergers and acquisitions.

He is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Fiscal Consultants’ Superior Council and a tax expert - independent or expert party - for different courts of justice and arbitration.

He holds an MBA from the University of Sheffield, UK.

Member of the Board Claudia Sofianu Partner, Tax & Law Department, People Advisory Services Leader, EY Romania

Leader of EY People Advisory Services practice in Romania with a high focus on Immigration and Mobility services, Claudia Sofianu is the coordinator of about 500 specialized team members in EY CESA and Romania.

Claudia has been a continual active member of TAX / Labour Law Taskforces in various business associations, including AmCham, where she has made valuable contributions towards the development, clarification, and improvement of tax/social security/immigration legislation.

Member of the Board Elisabeta Moraru Country Director - GOOGLE Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova and Romania

Elisabeta Moraru has been Country Director Google România since 2016, with 20 years of experience in areas like Management, Sales and Marketing, Business development and Training. Previous to Google, she has collaborated with Microsoft and Xerox.

Elisabeta holds a PH. D. in Communication Sciences with a thesis focusing on the evolution of the public sphere alongside the transformation of the access to information of the citizens.

Motivated by people and the desire to bring a positive impact in society, she initiated and is actively involved in multiple programs dedicated to schools and universities, with the goal to support the digitization of the educational and mass media systems. She believes technology is a tool, not a goal, and we can educate the usage for a better life.

With a wealth of expertise spanning over 23 years and 7 industries, (17 years in the pharmaceutical sector), Roxana stands as a trailblazer for passion, impact and development.

She returned to her home country, as Country Director for Johnson & Johnson, after an international journey including key roles in Sweden, Denmark, and Belgium, recording an impressive diversity of experiences and proving strong leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.

Gabriela Popescu is Corporate, Legal and External Affairs Director of Microsoft Central Europe, having accumulated almost 30 years of experience in local and international law, with several multinational companies.

She was recognized as one of the strongest counsels in the local market, being included in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist for Central and Eastern Europe in 2017, 2019, and 2023 editions.

Member of the Board Achilleas Kanaris CEO & President - VODAFONE ROMANIA

Achilleas Kanaris is currently the President & CEO of Vodafone Romania since July 2021. Previously, he was the CEO of Vodafone in Albania and the Chair of the Digital Committee of AmCham Albania.

As CEO of Vodafone Albania, he has successfully led the company’s transformation from a mobile only to a fully converged business through the acquisition and subsequent integration of Albania’s second largest Fixed and Pay TV Operator.

He joined Vodafone in 2009, undertaking a number of commercial roles in Greece including the role of Consumer Business Director, achieving NPS leadership and integrating Hellas Online, making Vodafone a fully converged operator. Prior to joining Vodafone, he held various senior management positions in the Telecoms and Consulting sectors in the UK.

Achilleas Kanaris holds a Master’s in Engineering from the Imperial College London and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - Sloan School of Management.
