Tremend, Trencadis and Accesa are the Romanian companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking

by Deloitte Romania December 23, 2016

Tremend, Trencadis and Accesa represent Romania in this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 500 ranking, representing the fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA region.

The three Romanian companies are part of the 39 Central European group of companies that have made it to the ranking, after they have previously been included in the Fast 50 ranking representing the fastest growing companies in the region.

Codewise, a Polish marketing technology company, has been ranked as the highest in Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, taking the 3rd place with a revenue growth of 13,052%, while the ranking leader, Fingerprint Cards, a Swedish company operating in the biometrics industry, reported a 28,000% revenue growth over the last four years.

Tremend, a company specialized in software solutions and consultancy with more than 11 years in the business, is the best positioned Romanian company, reaching the 285 place with a growth rate of 399%. Trencadis, a systems integration company whose main goal is to optimize and innovate institutions’ and companies’ work processes in relation to citizens and customers, is on the 301 position with a growth-rate of 383%, while Accesa, a company powering digital experiences through cloud, mobile & connected devices (IoT), is on the 353 position, with a 330% growth.

”The Romanian technology sector has long been recognized for its innovation and the dedicated and skilled teams. Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking demonstrates that innovation ultimately drives growth, even in a maturing and more competitive market like the current one,” said Alina Mirea, Partner and program coordinator for Deloitte Romania.

This year's edition of Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA has been dominated by the software industry companies, accounting for more than half of participants. The media sector is represented by 24% of the companies, with the communication sector coming third (over 10% of participants). The average growth rate of the revenue generated by all ranked companies has reached 967% versus 1,012% achieved last year.

The CE region has 39 representatives in the EMEA ranking: Poland is represented by 15 businesses, six come from the Czech Republic, four from Slovakia, while Croatia, Romania and Hungary are represented by three businesses each. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Serbia and Slovenia have one representative each.
