The 2019 edition of the Superbrands Romania is one step closer to the finish line, with both the market research and the council’s evaluation now completed.

The results so far create an interesting picture: brands in Top 15 come from areas more diverse than ever; two of them are Romanian brands of tradition and, overall, the FMCG industry reconfirms its status as a pool of excellence, as almost 49% of the brands included in the research come from these sectors. Not surprisingly, digital and tech are also in the spotlight, as e-commerce brands make their way to the hearts of the Romanians and so do the modern payment methods.

The final results and the awarding ceremony will take place in early 2020 at the Superbrands Romania Gala event.

In a nutshell, „the Superbrands Council evaluation and market research results speak about the interests and preoccupations of the Romanian consumers. The outcomes are absolutely remarkable in terms of market trends and, most importantly, show us which are the consumers’ preferences and values in terms of lifestyle, how the consumer of the future looks like, all of these features having the potential to identify where we need to head to” says Cătălina Rousseau, Country manager Superbrands România.

About Superbrands Romania: Having entered the Romanian market in 2005 via the strategic communication and public relations agency BDR Associates, the Superbrands organisation develops programmes dedicated to the Romanian market and the local branding culture. The programmes carried out so far, including six Consumer Superbrands editions (2006, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017) and two Business Superbrands editions (2007 and 2008), have provided more than 300 models of success in branding and communication. The Superbrands programmes in Romania have brought together for the Superbrands Honorary Council nearly 200 experts and professionals in management, marketing, communication, branding and other areas.
