Every year, American Councils and its partners send 15 students on a study tour in Europe that teaches them tolerance, human rights, and the dark history through which the world passed in the 20th century.
After the tour, which focuses on the grim history of the Holocaust, participants return to their communities where they develop follow-on programs to try to make the world a better place, starting with their fellow citizens.
