SIVECO ranks in the top 10 most performing European companies

The European Business Awards competition confirms the company’s position as regional leader in the exports sector

At the ceremony recently organized in Istanbul by European Business Awards, SIVECO Romania was awarded for excellence in exporting software products and services.

The gala ceremony of this prestigious competition was attended by the Turkish minister for European Integration, European Trade Commissioner, governmental representatives in Ankara, counselors of the Turkish Prime-Minister and European businessmen.

The European Business Awards competition aims at identifying the most performing European companies, selected based on three criteria: innovation, excellence and business sustainability. Based on these criteria, a jury composed of business leaders, representatives of the academic environment and journalists selected for the competition finals the most performing and representative 10 organizations throughout Europe.

“Our company’s selection within the top elaborated by the European Business Awards jury makes our entire team very happy. It is beyond doubt that we belong to the European companies’ elite and this is due to the expertise we have acquired during 21 years of big projects, our excellence in management, as well as to a high-performing team. We are about to launch new projects in Central Asia and the Caspian Region, in countries from Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and North Africa, as well as for organizations pertaining to the European Commission. We provide innovative technologies, quality products, we are exporting Romanian know-how“, Florian Ciolacu, Vice-President International Sales, SIVECO Romania, stated at the end of the ceremony.

Out of the 15,000 companies registered for the 2013 edition of the competition, 100 were selected and awarded with Ruban d’Honneur title, due to their exceptional achievements in business, the dynamic of their evolution and the manner of applying ethical and quality standards as well. Only 10 companies entered the grand finale in Istanbul.

This year, SIVECO Romania has received its third “Ruban d’Honneur” award, granted by European Business Awards, after having received the National Champion title, being thus the only Romanian company, winner in the “Businesses having turnover between 25 and 150 million Euro” category.

The company’s expertise in running projects with national coverage has been built over 21 years by a team of outstanding specialists. SIVECO Romania solutions contribute to reducing the digital gap and improve the activity of many public institutions, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry for the Information Society, Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Protection and Elderly, Ministry of Finances.

SIVECO Romania develops projects with significant social impact, such as those for the National Health Insurance House, the Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture, Payments Agency for Rural Development and Fisheries, National Employment Agency, National Customs Authority, Credit Bureau, General Inspectorate of Romanian Police etc.
