PwC Romania has recruited Cristian Gavril as a Director in the Business Recovery Services Department

PwC Romania strengthens its business recovery services (BRS) team with the recruitment of Cristian Gavril, who has joined as a Director.

Over the past year we have grown rapidly, winning a number of new insolvency and restructuring mandates. We are further investing in this area to support our strong pipeline of work and ensure we are best placed to meet our ongoing clients’ needs”, stated Edward Macnamara, Advisory Leader, PwC Romania.

“Cristian will work alongside myself, Cristian Răvăşilă, the other Director in the BRS department, and members of the team to further expand our market presence, win new clients and projects, and build an outstanding insolvency and restructuring practice”, added Macnamara.

Prior to joining PwC, Cristian worked in insolvency field and financial services sector. He has over 15 years of cumulated business experience, acquired in insolvency practice, strategic planning, financial and operations restructuring. He is a certified insolvency practitioner and economist and holds an EMBA with Asebuss & Coles College - Kennesaw State University Atlanta, USA.

Cristian has led a large portfolio of clients in various industries and markets (up to EUR 100 million in terms of aggregated liabilities), advising them in a wide range of insolvency & restructuring matters, including crisis management, comprehensive assistance related to all aspects and stages of the insolvency procedure, voluntary dissolution and liquidation procedures, as well as procedures for the prevention of insolvency. He has a solid proof track of insolvency cases in which he delivered solutions that led to improvement of businesses performance, designed and implemented successful reorganization plans or obtained the best outcome in bankruptcy proceedings.
