Promotions at NNDKP: A New Partner and 19 Lawyers and Consultants in the Seniority Structure

Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) announced today that Valentin Voinescu was promoted to partner in the banking and finance department.

Moreover, 10 senior attorneys were promoted to managing associates, 7 lawyers to senior associates and 2 tax managers to tax directors.

The promoted professionals had a significant contribution to the consolidation and increase in work volume of their practices and offices, namely dispute resolution (where Cătălin Radbâță, Daniela Gramaticescu, Marius Ezer, Valeriu Mina, Corina Iablonschi were promoted), banking and finance (Valentin Voinescu, Larisa Țugui), real estate (Irina Dimitriu, Vlad Tănase, Ioana Grigoriu), tax (Adina Vizoli, Sorin Mociofan), intellectual property (Delia Belciu), capital markets (Diana Ispas), immigration (Alexandru Lupu), employment (Delia Paceagiu), corporate and contracts (Delia Ropan), the Timișoara (Eva Forika, Delia Băroianu) and Cluj-Napoca offices (Cristina Bidiga).

Following these promotions, the team has 20 partners (18 lawyers and 2 tax advisors), 110 attorneys, 18 tax consultants, 3 intellectual property counselors and 75 employees in the administrative departments.

Valentin Voinescu, Partner (Banking and Finance)
Valentin is the new partner in the banking and finance practice, which is headed by Manuela Nestor and Alina Radu. Valentin has broad transactional and advisory experience, focusing primarily on the financial sector. His main areas of expertise include advising financial institutions and corporations on a wide range of issues, including finance transactions, debt restructuring, and regulatory matters. Valentin is also an experienced trainer, offering regular lectures and seminars to banks and companies active on the domestic market.

Delia Belciu, Managing Associate (Intellectual Property)
Delia has extensive expertise in intellectual property matters, especially in the areas of trademark and design, both at national and Community level, copyright and related issues, employee inventions, designations of origin and arbitration proceedings with respect to domain names. Delia also provides advice to international and local companies in varied and complex projects in the fields of healthcare and pharmaceutical, consumer protection, anti-corruption, advertising and software.

Cristina Bidiga, Managing Associate (Head of the Cluj-Napoca Office)
Cristina specializes in commercial disputes having as subject matter the annulment of documents, disputes between associates, debt recovery, insolvency proceedings, labor issues, contraventional law, consumer protection and public procurement. She also coordinates criminal cases, both in the criminal investigation and at the trial stage. Cristina provides legal assistance in relation to labor law matters, contracts and relations within and between companies.

Irina Dimitriu, Managing Associate (Real Estate)
Irina developed her professional expertise in all areas of real estate law, with a focus on the structuring, negotiation and legal analysis related to complex transactions (both "share deal" and "asset deal"). Irina is also specialized in the areas of urbanism and urban planning, major energy infrastructure projects, as well as in drafting and negotiating various types of construction agreements (including FIDIC contracts).

Marius Ezer, Managing Associate (Dispute Resolution)
Marius has significant expertise in dispute resolution and represents clients in court in connection with civil and commercial law projects in fields such as insolvency, labor law, international commercial arbitration, public procurement, energy, real estate. He is specialized in complex insolvency proceedings, in particular judicial reorganization proceedings, as well as labor law matters, which involve the reorganization of the clients' activities and negotiations with the representative trade unions.

Eva Forika, Managing Associate (Head of the Timișoara Office)
Eva developed key skills in the field of corporate and contract law and provides integrated multidisciplinary assistance, including in highly regulated fields, such as zootechnics and natural resources. Eva is experienced in cross-border transactions and assists clients with respect to a wide range of contracts and various administrative proceedings. As a litigator, she represents clients mostly with respect to administrative disputes and participates in establishing the strategy in civil and commercial disputes.

Daniela Gramaticescu, Managing Associate (Dispute Resolution)
Daniela has significant expertise in complex judicial and arbitration proceedings in matters involving real estate and corporate law, civil and criminal law disputes in connection with public and private property rights, banking law disputes, commercial disputes. Daniela also assists and represents clients in litigations in the administrative, fiscal, pharmaceutical and public procurement fields.


Diana Ispas, Managing Associate (Capital Markets)
Diana has extensive experience in all aspects related to capital markets, as well as in banking and financial services, corporate governance, M&A and privatizations. She provides assistance to multinational companies, banks, investment funds, as well as to authorities, in complex projects, including listings, finance projects including by issuance of bonds, factoring, restructuring, and representes the clients before the relevant authorities, while actively contributing to the improvement of the legislative framework.

Valeriu Mina, Managing Associate (Dispute Resolution)
Valeriu has extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, as well as in resolving various disputes by extrajudicial means. He represents clients in civil, criminal and administrative law cases, privatizations, enforcement proceedings and public procurement matters. Valeriu is also specialized in civil disputes related to the challenging of public and private property rights, commercial disputes, insolvency proceedings and disputes arising in connection with legal relations governed by the FIDIC rules.

Cătălin Radbâță, Managing Associate (Dispute Resolution)
Cătălin specializes in cross-border insolvency proceedings, which involve complex analyses and strategies of proceedings conducted simultaneously in several jurisdictions, including enforcement procedures, assets located abroad, as well as obtaining provisional measures. Locally, Cătălin is involved in commercial cases related to the execution of projects in the fields of renewable energy and transportation of industrial gas, as well as in disputes on the electricity market.


Vlad Tănase, Managing Associate (Real Estate)
Vlad specializes in the real estate field in projects covering a wide range of matters, such as the acquisition, financing and development of office, residential and commercial real estate projects. He acquired significant experience in the office leasing market, having consistently represented major key real estate developers. Vlad also has extensive expertise in joint venture and exit strategies in the real estate field and is involved in many landmark transactions on the real estate market.

Delia Băroianu, Senior Associate (NNDKP Timișoara)
Delia specializes in the areas of contract and labor law and provides advice to and represents clients in court in varied and complex projects. She assists local and foreign companies in relation to various matters concerning individual employment relations, including the evaluation and implementation of the procedures of disciplinary sanctions and dismissal, in sensitive cases. Delia represents clients in disputes involving real estate issues and provides assistance in the revision of contracts and due diligence projects.

Ioana Grigoriu, Senior Associate (Real Estate)
Ioana acquired significant expertise in the real estate field by providing assistance on a wide range of projects. She provides legal assistance in connection with the complex real estate issues that arise in public offerings (including on the capital markets), due diligence analyses and the negotiation of complex contracts. Ioana also specializes in projects in the forestry and agricultural field, the development of office/retail buildings, industrial parks, as well as in relation to insolvency matters.

Corina Iablonschi, Senior Associate (Dispute Resolution)
Corina specializes in commercial and civil law disputes that involve complex insolvency issues, enforcement proceedings and corporate law matters. Her experience includes the representation of the employers in disputes related to labor law arising out of the execution, amendment, suspension and termination of employment contracts, as well as in actions regarding the enforcement of pecuniary rights. Corina also acquired expertise in consumer protection and administrative law disputes.

Alexandru Lupu, Senior Associate (Head of Immigration)
Alexandru has significant expertise in relation to the legal regime governing foreigners, that he acquired during the eight years as head of the immigration practice. Alexandru advises clients in connection with both consular related matters concerning short-stay visas and issues related to the relocation of foreign personnel for the purpose of obtaining the certificate of employment or secondment as well as the regulation of the family members' residence permit, and with matters related to the establishment of long-term residence and the request to obtain or re-acquire Romanian citizenship.

Delia Paceagiu, Senior Associate (Employment)
Delia assists Romanian and foreign clients with respect to various labor law matters arising from individual and collective employment relations. These include the conclusion, amendment, suspension and termination of employment contracts, the establishment of the employees' obligations concerning non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality upon the termination of the work relations, the drafting and review of internal regulations and procedures, employee transfer, cross-border secondment, execution and performance of collective bargaining agreements and implementation of the individual and collective dismissal procedures.

Delia Ropan, Senior Associate (Corporate and Contracts)
Delia specializes in the public procurement field and provides assistance to Romanian and foreign clients, bidders and contracting authorities, both in the stage of analysis of the tender documentation and preparation and evaluation of bids, and in the stage of challenging or defending the outcome of the procedures (in the litigious stage, before the NCSC and the competent courts). Delia's experience also includes advice on a wide range of contractual matters.

Larisa Țugui, Senior Associate (Banking and Finance)
Larisa has an extensive experience in the banking and financial services field and is specialized in a wide range of finance transactions (including complex project finance and acquisition finance transactions), debt restructuring, assignments of loan portfolios, bond issuance, public finance, bank mergers, financial services regulatory matters, as well as insolvency and corporate law matters.


Sorin Mociofan, Tax Director (Head of Timișoara Tax Practice)
Sorin has over has over 13 years of experience in taxation projects and over the past ten years has been assisting clients located in Transilvania/Banat region. A certified tax advisor, Sorin has extensive professional expertise in tax consulting and planning projects with focus on the direct and indirect taxation areas. Sorin holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and the Academy of Economic Studies.


Adina Vizoli, Tax Director (Tax)
Adina has 12 years of experience in local and international taxation matters and is specialized in all VAT aspects: VAT projects launched with Romania's accession to the European Union, as well as impact analyses on local and European VAT issues, solutions for fiscal streamlining, assistance in proceedings before Romanian tax authorities during administrative tax procedures and fiscal inspections. She is a Certified Tax Advisor.
