Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) was part of the international team of advisors that assisted NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, Inc., one of the world’s leading logistics companies, in acquiring the shares of the multiple subsidiaries of Cargo-Partner Group Holding AG ("Cargo-Partner"), which provides global logistics services through its main business sites in Central and Eastern Europe.

NNDKP advised on all Romanian law aspects relating to Cargo-Partner’s subsidiary in Romania and its operations. NNDKP was part of an international team of advisors that assisted the buyer in the transaction, led by Freshfields, one of the world’s leading law firms.

The NNDKP team that assisted NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, Inc. in the project included Răzvan Vlad (Partner) and Vlad Anghel (Senior Associate), in the firm’s Corporate/M&A practice, who coordinated a multidisciplinary team of lawyers that included Roxana Iordache (Senior Associate, Real Estate), Cătălina Dan (Associate, Banking and Finance), Mădălina Vasile (Senior Associate, Data Protection) and Daniel Stăncescu (Senior Associate, Employment).

NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, Inc. will thus acquire the shares of 63 companies that are part of Cargo-Partner Group Holding AG, in a cash transaction carried out through a special purpose company and wholly owned subsidiary of NIPPON EXPRESS EUROPE GMBH.

With this deal, NNDKP is consolidating its portfolio of recently completed M&A projects, in industries such as energy and natural resources, food and agribusiness, technology and IT, transport and logistics and medical services.
