Mindfulness Camp - A Summer Camp for Young Leaders

A new and modern approach for students to develop healthy habits and life skills through Mindfulness techniques

The Mindfulness Summer Camp offers:

• A unique international camp program, located in special and beautiful surroundings at Baisoara Resort, Apuseni Mountains;
• A wide selection of activities designed to develop self-knowledge and leadership skills;
•  Recreational outdoor activities and dancing;
•  Healthy food and healthy habits;
•  The language of communication is English;

By attending this camp students will learn how to:

•  Understand who they are;
•  Be proactive rather than reactive;
•  Choose their own attitude rather than let circumstances choose for them;
•  Learn what their strengths are;
•  Develop their creativity;
•  Learn to choose and adapt in any circumstances;
•  Become a role model;
•  Build a strong character;

Who can attend: students from all over the country, aged 12 through 18-year-old
When the camp will take place: July 7-17, 2014 or July 21-31, 2014
Where is it located: Baisoara Resort, 50 km from Cluj-Napoca, in the heart of Transylvania
Cost: 1500 RON
Early Registration: 1200 RON, by April 1st
1300 RON, by May 1st

Who runs the Mindfulness Camp?
Ruchi Kumar together with a team of teachers from Transylvania College.
Ruchi Kumar graduated Cornel University, one of the best universities in the United States. She is specialized in positive psychology and socio-emotional education. She has been a learning specialist, for the past six years and is a certified health coach in Washington DC, US. She is also a trained dancer. In the summer camp she will be offering lots of activities like: American pop dance, Indian dance, workshops in positive psychology, wellness, and health coaching sessions, trips and many other outdoor activities.
